Hin Kong - Angel's Bay Koh Phangan, Thailand
Known for their pizza's Angels bay, run by a French couple is a small but friendly run restuarant on the west coast of Koh Phangan in Hinkong just after the small seafront villa building. The pizzas are all cooked in the stone wood fired pizza oven and come out tasting great. The restuarant has a garden feel and is right on the beach at Hingkong adjasent to the main road in the middle of the bay.
To get to angles bay from the villas, head south on the coast road untill the vast stretch of sand turns into a shallow bay. Here is known as hingkong and is popular for fishing shellfish at lower tides. Angles bay is ideally situated in the middle of the bay.
Look out for the black board positioned road side outside of the restuarant for the days special or whats on offer. Angles bay is open from mid day untill late and is an ideal place to sip a cocktail and watch the sun go down.
