Boat Ahoy in Baan Tai on the south coast of Koh Phangan serves up Thai food in a comfortable purpose built boat themed restaurant set just back from the main road that runs to Had Rin or around two kilometers from Thong Sala. The menu is huge and they also do good seafood and a few Chinese dishes, well theres even karaoke for those who like a sing song after diner. The food is prepared to the highest standards but still comes at a reasonable cost in incomparable to other places to eat. They gave a full menu which means they offer breakfast being open from 8.00pm and then lunch and also diner in the evening, they are open all day. Some of the specials include the hot beef pan or the thai vegetable soup that includes fresh sea prawns from the local market, both totally delicious. Other good dishes are Fish head that comes in a big hot pot for the adventures types or the Chinese cucumber dish or the lemon beef or pork are highly recommended.
