Choa Phoa

This beach connects with Aow Seethanu and is a popular place the beach is quite and sandy, flanked with coconut and mangrove trees.There are now a number of shops between here and Seethenu and its only a short walk between the two.

It is quite easy to drive straight past Aow Chaophao and not even realise there is a beach there and that would be a mistake. Aow Chaophao is a charming little bay with some interesting rock formations and becomes swimmable along with most of the beaches on the west coast of Koh Phangan from October through to May.

Cars can be hired from several places anlong the Choa Phoa road and a number of small scale supermarkets have been built at the seethanu end of the road. The Pairate bar holds true to its theme with the bar built as a replica pirates ship half built into a rock. Once a month they hold the Moon Set party a few days proir to teh full moon and it can get quite busy in high season.
