Festivels on the Island
More often than not theres some kind of festival being held somewhere on phangan wich can last for a few days or even a week. They mostly happen in the larger villages of Chaloklum, Baan Tai and of course Thong sala, but they also are held in temples around phangan as well
Most festivals follow a siumlar format of food stalls, game stalls, market sellers and a stage show with Thai dance. They are a great occasion and worth a visit.
