In search of the big piece a golf course on Koh Phangan?
Koh Samui is now home to an international golf course of excellent quality and its brought a lot of attention and visitors to the island. Golf is a big sport now in Asia and its already very popular in Europe and America, people pay good money for a round of golf and they often are the type of people with deep pockets. A golf course on Koh Phangan is a great idea and will boast tourism; the problem is finding a piece of land for sale big enough to build a course on.
Rumours have suggested two locations, the first in Thong Naay Paan and the second on land in the west quarter of Koh Phangan. The east coast and Thong Naay Paan is protected forest reserve for the most part, land with title deeds do exist as they were granted before the protection zone was enacted but the problem is they are mostly fragmented land plots. The second area in the west coast does not suffer from that problem and land for sale exists but it will be hard to find the size needed.
