Haad Salad on the west coast of Koh Phangan between Haad Yoa and Meahaad is famed for its offshore islet corals. Eating out there are options for Thai, western and seafood, the majority of the restaurants are along the water front in the beach resorts with a couple more in the village. Coral formations can be found inside the shallower waters and marine life is abundant. Its an ideal place for all levels as the coral reef can be viewed at shallow depths of one to two meters but there also some deeper reefs of four to five meters a little further out where larger fish can be seen.
