An Irish themed bar on Koh Phangan that serves up draft bitters, ciders and lagers and offers pub food along side Thai dishes. There is ample seating off heavy wooden chairs around barrel tables, a pro standard pool table, jukebox and large LCD TV for live sports.

The location is ideal being opposite the main pier in Thong Sala and often attracts visitors waiting for the next boat. There is also a strong local expat following which fills the pub in the evenings and as such is one of the few places in Thong Sala to stay busy during the evening. The pool table is a pleasure to play on and the balls roll around smoothly and pockets well, a suited bar facility that any decent Irish bar should have. The jukebox is of a modern design, linked with a external hard drive storage units, so there are plenty of songs and tunes to satisfy all music tastes and genres and there no charge so go ahead and select your favorite country track or pop melody and sing a along. Available on tap are draft Singha (a Thai beer), draft Hienenken and draft Guinness, all served chilled in half or full pint glasses. An array of other bottled drinks are on offer as are spirits and cocktails.
There is a feeling of warmth inside the bar with the floor being wooded laid planks, earth brick walls and large timber framed windows cooling down the pub. The toilets are available on hand at the back of the bar which can be a bonus in Thailand and are keep in clean western standard profile. The bar is set in a wide open plan space giving the guest a less formal and more sociable atmosphere.
Just opposite the Harp Bar is a car rental shop that also has bike for rent, a good place to rent a vehicle as the drop of when returning is easy to walk to catch a boat from.
To get to the bar head down to the main pier in Thong Sala which is the newest and largest pier which has a blue roofed reception building and is where the Seatran and Lomparah speed boat connections to Koh Samui and Koh Toa depart Koh Phangan from, and the Harp Bar is directly opposite this pier on the corner on the other side of the road from Seven Eleven. The bar is open from mid morning until late and is well worth a visit if your after a good drink in friendly company or whilst waiting for the boat.
