leela beach, Haad Rin, Koh Phangan...
Located a short track ride from Haad Rin Leela beach enjoys sunset views over the sea towards Koh samui and Koh Ang Tong. Leela beach on has a few upmarket resorts and a simple hut operation along its shoreline. The beach has soft white sand and is not as crowded as Haad Rin Beach can get. The waters are simular to that on the rest of the south and west coast of Phangan being shallow except at high tide with scattered coral along the sea bed. Still theres many spots to jump and play around in the water at Lella beach.
The nighlife is good here as Haad Rin is just a short walk away with its many beach bars, restuarants and shops. For resonable price accommodation LightHouse Bungalows at the north end has rooms for under twenty five dollers in low season.
