Maehaad beach

Maehaad is a peacefull setting with the beautiul Koh Maa Island connected by a sand bank, a top dive and snorkel spot. The beach at Meahaad is not the best on the island but Koh Maa a little offshore island conected by a sand spit has some good dive and snorkel sites. The beach is quite even for Koh Phangan and theres som good shady areas to be found along the usual sunbathing paradise. A large stream flows into the sea from the middle of Meahaad beach, sufficient enough for a small bridge to be erected, this area is beautiful in the wet season when the stream really gets going. Meahaad has some good beachfront accomodation and dining options also.
