Main Pier on Koh Phangan - Thong Sala

The main entry pier on Koh Phangan is in Thong Sala, which is also the main transit town and is located in the south west of the Island. The Island has good infrastructure in place with a large spacious well built pier that accommodates car ferries, speed boat ferries most other types of boat. The main waiting room is large where both ticketing offices are located and there is adequate car parking space. To the let of the pier is a municipals park with walkways and children's play areas.
Both the Seatran and the Lomprayah boat service depart room the new pier to both Koh Samui and Koh Toa as well as day trips to Ko Nangyuan and ko Angthong, the marine Islands. Some of the car ferry's arrive and depart using this pier but they still use the older pier as well.
