Wake Up - Wake Baording
The Wake Up, wake boarding school is in the village of Chaloklum on the North Coast of Koh Phangan. All of the wake boarding is done in the bay at Chaloklum as the conditions are perfect with the sheltered bay. The bay is 3km long and suitable for the adaptive speed boat to go fast enough for the English speaking instructor to show how to get some good jumps or flips whilst on a wake board. With new equipment cheeped in perfect working order and a well organized school, its surely one of the best places to learn to wake board in Thailand.
The school also have a bar suitably named - The Wake Up Bar - where people can meet up afterwards, share stories and have a friendly drink. The boat at the Wake Up has been built just for wake boarding and is titted with all the needed adaption to get the perfect ride when boarding on salt sea conditions. The vessel is around 21 feet long and is powered by a inboard Yamaha 200 break horse power engine.
